About Us

The Design 13 Studios team has been involved in the Haunt industry one way or the other since 1981, so we've seen a few things. Equipped with a CNC router, CAD software, vacuum former, electronic design software, and quite a few soldering irons, we have been known to build a few things.  Hopefully our enthusiasm rubs off on those we come in contact with. 

Haunt Prop maker, engineer, mad scientist, voice talent and all around "Wizard of Weird". Marty Lane aka "Marty Macabre" has been involved in the haunt industry starting in 1981 and hasn't stopped looking under the bed since.

Michael Fletcher aka "Mikey Mayhem" has been spinning crazy beats as a DJ and software developer. He is a Scare Expert with a haunted attraction background as a scare actor, zombie, DJ, and has an all around technical prowess. He is in our Sales Department and adept at Technical Support.

Chico Jennings has been making quirky sounds on tape since the 70's. You remember tape, right? Well its all digital now.

Wicked with a cordless drill and knowing his way around a haunted attraction, Chico gets the job done. Doctor Frankenstein had Egor, We've got Chico. Except without the hump.

Chico handles assembly and shipping as well as helping bury the bodies.

Debbey is our trusted office manager. She keeps things running smoothly around here. She knows the sounds made by 8 track tape and is good at playing records. She had a Playtape growing up...anyone know what that is?  But she has finally upgraded and knows digital things now. And she is mean with a tape gun.
